Who me? A director?
Hey, I had soft spots for the series “On the Lot” but given a task of creating a short film on behalf of the “Kabul Team” for the company’s 20th anniversary annual dinner was something else.
Thanks to my buddy Tan who had a better camera than what I had, we managed to capture some interesting snippets, add some music, sub titles and mixed all that up using my Microsoft Vista’s Movie Maker and created a short 5 minutes film for the annual dinner. There is still some editing to be done, more funny snippets to be added or edited but we hope to complete this short film in time for the annual dinner (sorry, this may not make it to Youtube).
In the mean time, I saw the gem over at Youtube acted by Will Ferrel and a small girl titled “The Landlord” -

This s what I call truly gifted comedy film.
P.s. Damn me not having the camera on “standby” – seeing 2 Chinook helicopters flying low accompanied by Apache attack helicopters is truly amazing but capturing them on camera would have been classic. Damn!
