La Salle School Reunion

A simple post to start things going – continuation from the School Meme comments.
Anyone interested to join in the reunion, please sent me a short email with name, year you left La Salle Brickfields (Form 3 – preferably the 1988 batch), contact details (handphone is preferred). The reunion location for now is Pines in good old Brickfields. Time and date not fixed yet….still gathering the crowd for event.

What happened to the class reunion? Did it take place?
Harjit – it was postponed because I had to travel and the guys was busy as well. Working out for one in December.
I’m an old school boy (Form 3, 1969). I noted that one of you guys commented about Mr. Yong. Is he Yong Hing Hong, teaches science and the football coach. Pls. let me know re. his status. Thxs.
Dear Lim Eng Chai, I was also at La Salle Brickfields, Form 3, 1969. My name’s Venugopal. I left for India in March 1970. Not really kept in touch with any one since then, except with Peter on and off.
hi lim, david toh (‘82) here. understand from my batch of ex la salle classmates that mr yong has passed away.
My Lord, I can’t believe that Mr Kua Beng Hock kept on teaching. He was my Maths teacher in 1978. And to think that students after 1980 still remember him. Balajoe and the rest would be interested to know that Kua still has the La Sallian spirit, he organises get togethers for the old teachers of La Salle Brickfields annually. One of you mentioned him appearing him in the Malay Mail. I was then working in the NST and bumped into him and introduced him to a reporter in the Malay Mail who reported his story. The case went on appeal and Mr Kua won the case involving a faulty traffic summon. Good for him. If any of you guys want to send me e-mails on La Salle Brickfields, please do. At one time I was even thinking of putting a book together on the school. Now it is the wistful thought. Take care you guys.

I was a student from 1958 till 1966 and we were the pioneer batch of the secondary school.Our teachers were L.A.,Lucas Wong,Diana Yeoh,Ben Morais,etc.We were on record having organised the first get together in 1972.
Last reunion was at Lake Club on the 19/9/08.La Salle was a great school and really superb and dedicated teachers.Feel free to contact.
Dear Nalliah, You know my brother Chandramohan well. I was actually with your brother Chelliah in class of 69. My brother told me Chelliah is at the top level running the Cricket association of Malaysia. This is just to say Hi!
