The Mis-informed Shabery

(You know what you talking or not, Shabery? Image source: http://freelittlebrain.blogspot.com)

Sad but true – despite the wealth of information that is made available, some idiots are still looking at the wrong direction…

From theStar:-

Information Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek has called on the people to maintain racial unity.

He said the Barisan Nasional government had helped to forge unity among the people over the last 51 years since independence was gained and that the people should play a similar role (ya, right!).

Fuck you lah Shabery – talk is cheap. The people are not stupid lah and they have always maintained racial unity but the buggers from your own political party (ok lah, call them “BN” to hide the sorry state of the political party) are the one who been going around uttering racist and untrue stories.

Don’t waste your time with us lah – instead better you call the trouble makers from your party and kick them out for treason against unity and good understanding between Malaysians.

We thought you would have wised up since the last fuel debate but sadly you have not…

(In response to widespread blatant use of ISA) From The People’s Parliament:-

1. Remain calm, 2. Do not do anything rash, 3. Do not take to the street, 4. Do not be instigated by people to demonstrate, 5. Just voice it out in your blog, your comments to the blogs, and inform your friends and relatives about the situation, 6. Call your Aduns or MPs and voice out your objection about these arrests and urge your representatives to voice out, 7. Members of political parties, sms your leaders to pressure them to voice out

We shall object to these draconian acts by using civility and do not fall into the traps of giving the big brother a chance to declare emergency rule……

That is the right thing to do!

ISA Stupidity

(The wrong people caught under ISA. Image source: TheStar)

This Government is getting ridiculous by the minutes…

What started with RPK, was continued with Tan Hoon Cheng and Teresa Kok – from theStar:-

Malaysia Today news portal editor Raja Petra Kamarudin, Seputeh MP Teresa Kok and Sin Chew Daily reporter Tan Hoon Cheng were arrested under the Internal Security Act (ISA) here and in Penang.

The first person to be picked up was Raja Petra, 58, from his house in Sungai Buloh near here, followed by Tan, 32, who was arrested from her house in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. Teresa, 43, was detained at 11.20pm as she was on her way home in a car.

Whilst most of us understand the intensity of using ISA against Raja Petra (although it is not justified), it looks outright stupid to use the same against Tan & Kok. What they did for the Government to arrest them under ISA? Did Tan Hoon Cheng utter the “penumpang” in a political rally in the last by-election? Did Teresa Kok admit that she was all-arms up for silencing the azan in the state? The answer is a big NO!

The buggers who committed the act are still free just because they are from UMNO – nothing more, nothing less. And what the police are doing on the multiple police reports against Ahmad Ismail and Khir Toyo? Going to stamp it as “No Case”? If there is someone to be caught under ISA, it is Ahmad Ismail and Khir Toyo and not Tan Hoon Cheng & Teresa Kok.

It’s a clear move to silence the voices that oppose the Government and the Government is scrubbing salt on the wound by punishing the wrong people. I guess it is just a matter of time before we share the same boat with renegade countries like Myanmar and Zimbabwe.

Are the other component parties in BN going to support the madness that UMNO is creating with such lunacy acts? Shame on MCA, MIC, Gerakan and others if they choose not do anything and stand aside and allow the country to get messier. What’s next, martial law? More ISA arrests?

“Thanks” Pak Lah for this legacy…we are now looking like idiots in the eyes of the world

Read the very important message from The People’s Parliament:-

Then, we send messages out to everyone we know and who trust us and tell them the same. BN is going to try and cause trouble so please stay calm and do not react.

Yes, remain calm and rationale all times, no matter what is the provocation – we do not want to end up acting irrationally like the stooges at Putrajaya
