Kapar Member of Parliament S. Manika¬vasagam has agreed to hold off on his decision to quit as a member of PKR until he has met with party leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. He will meet the Opposition party adviser after he comes back from a trip to India in mid-January.

However, he reiterated he was ready to “leave the party at any time” and has already sent in a letter resigning from his post as Selangor PKR deputy liaison chairman to Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, effective immediately.

Aiyah, no need to waste anyone’s time lah, flip flop Mike – enough of the blackmailing shit and just resign lah. You are just giving the Indians, the oppositions and those who voted you a bad name.

Haven’t you heard the maxim – when the going gets tough, the tough gets going? Work with the system to make real change instead of going and bitching around. That reflects on your shortcoming, instead of others.

P.s. In case you have forgotten, remember that you are not only representing the Indians voters – watch yourself talking about helping all voters. You sure have a very short memory.

S. Manikavasagam is not getting much sympathy on the net

Interesting comments over at Anilnetto on the latest fiasco by S. Manikavasagam:-

The Kapar MP lacks empathy and has not got a grasp of the whole situation. He should observe and listen more than screaming his head off. Does he know that nobody is listening to his tantrums ?

And

Kapar MP should be told that he wasn’t elected by Indians in Kapar.

Indians form only 12% of the voters while the Malays form 50% and they gave him 12,000 majority just like the Malays in Padang Seria (Kedah) of Gobalakirishnan gave him almost 12,000 majority as well though both were parachute contestants. Yet he (Mike) is behaving as if he was elected by Indians alone and says his can only consult Hindraf as if the party didn’t invest in him, didn’t campaign for him and didn’t convince urban Malays to give him a place in Parliament. He is insensitive and acts like a samseng.

No wonder Karpal Singh said today: “”People did not elect him in his personal capacity. He has no right to leave PKR and join any other party. His only other option is to resign so that the people in the constituency can decide what they want.” (NST)

If Manikavasagam is not able to read the writing on the wall by now, he deserves to be kicked out, hard and fast

The representative from Kapar, S. Manikavasagam, told mStar Online that he was quitting because he was disappointed with the attitude of Selangor PKR leaders, who he claimed had neglected the needs of the people. He also cited in-fighting among the state leaders as a reason.

The truth is we are getting tired of this guy.

Perhaps you have good intentions but when you are a part of the oppositions and there is a certain trust placed on you on the people, you don’t end up blackmailing the very trust placed on you by the people. Who Manikavasagam thinks he is? Malaysia is in the wild, wild west?

You got the votes and a place in the government of the State but when things are not going your way, you don’t get out and starting acting like a bitch? You already done once here and here

Admittedly there are constraints and certain things will not come easy and fast. No more racial based politics. Certainly no one man show!
