This is the newest design of the US 100 dollar note (the most counterfeited of all denominations) which was revealed on 21st April 2010.
It was the easiest currency and denomination to bring along in all the country that I have travelled so far including the “American unfriendly” Iran (damn, they love the US dollars there).
The most interesting feature of the new note would be this:-
The new bills contain a Crane & Co. security feature called Motion, containing up to 650,000 microlenses embedded in the printing which allows for an underlying image to shift when the bill is moved
